This weekend was placed under the sign of car races. Starting Saturday morning we could hear the engines throughout the city and the surrounding villages. Then, Saturday evening, we had music through loudspeakers for most of the night because there was a big party downtown for the occasion. Sunday engines were back on roaring. I attended with Rebecca several races featuring different types of cars. The temperature was wonderful in the shade but burning hot under the sun.
