Hello,
Thursday and Friday we went to the Alps in Southern Switzerland. Bryan and Rebecca started off by climbing some ladders in the mountains, where the path is too steep (picture 1). Leukerbad is a village with thermal bath (hot spa), where we spent the rest of the day before going for dinner in a nice local restaurant. On Friday we climbed an area called the "Gemmi" that led us 1000 m above the village to reach 2400 m of altitude (pictures 2 and 3). The view was great and there were still some patches of snow on the ground. The weather was nevertheless beautiful. After the 2-hour hike up and one down, the three of us enjoyed spending some time in the spa again. Phil
